"I was always told not to settle. Therefore, I will probably die alone."

blouse Mojca Makuc, shoes Emporio Armani, pants R Exclusive

I'm loving the asymmetrical collar of this blouse. Finally something nice I can wear to university too -- I'm still finding my balance ("Do I want to completely destroy a piece by wearing it from 8 AM to PM in the cold, rain, on the bus, in class where there's very little space etc.?"). The shoes were designed by my friend in Milan -- she appropriately calls them "disco shoes".

I've decided that I want to go to NYC in spring and therefore have to save a ton of money. But I probably won't go anyway as finding company for flying over the pond for a couple of days just to hang around is one of the hardest things I can think of due to time and money issues and I refuse to go alone because I'm so sick of traveling by myself I cannot even begin to describe it. It's basically all I did this year and finally the point has come when I've had enough although I never imagined it actually happening since I like being alone very much. I don't know the cause of it, but the effect is obvious. Anyone ever had a similar experience?

Yes, the collar is unusual but you look gorgeous! Loving teh details on the shoes :)

I have been flight/travel deprived for three years now, and am itching to go somewhere but money, time and companionship are the big issues for me too.

I love your blouse! it's so unique and yet so classic! The disco shoes are such a fun little touch.

Haha, yes. The robe is definately not something I would wear everyday but it was fun to play with while I had it in my possesion.

This is great, a masculine look with feminine details...I adore it.

you look beautiful! i love the outfit and the shoes are fab!

i would love to travel more, but it is very expensive. i do not really have anyone to travel with, so this deters me from most travel. i get so nervous when travelling, and it would be nice to have a companion. wah. i hope we both land travel companions (and loads of cash) soon!

Občudujem te, in blog, že nekaj časa. Te smem vprašati, si taka trendy travelista službeno ali po srcu. Ugibam - oboje?

My brother is now expressing how much he hates to travel alone. He has a girlfriend, but she works so much she can't even go to simple places like the movies, much less Germany for Christmas. I admire you "aplomb", being able to travel alone and not be uneasy. It's funny I have the hardest time mustering up the courage to go to a cocktail party alone, but I can pack up and move anywhere on whim without a single fear.

P.S. your shoes are lovely.

Such a lovely delicate blouse! And I agree, it's clearly disco shoes!! Love the little shiny globes on them:)

Oh, I think you're very brave for travelling alone, I don't think I could do that in a million years! So hats off to you!!

Hope you find someone to go to with you to NYC:)

I love the shape of those pants and how they bunch up at the bottom - so chic! I would gladly meet up with you in NYC for a few days - it's such an amazing place. I don't live that far away, I really should make it there more often!

Love the top and the collar. I love traveling with people, for sure. But traveling alone can be truly wonderful. I only discovered this last year. But as with all things in life, balance is good. So, if you are always traveling alone, I can understand getting tired of it. But you should come to NYC anyway!

Nice outfit. I thought at first the blouse was Yamamoto.
And quite the oposite, when it comes to visiting NYC. Everyone want's to go with me and I find traveling is at most, when it's just me and my boyfriend.

You look stunning in this outfit! I adore those shoes so much- sequin shoes are my favorite, but I never know how to wear them.

I wish we lived in the same country- I would totally love to travel with you. I love to travel and wish I could do it more, but I have the same problem with money (and time).

love the blouse and disco shoes! i am impressed with how you pull it together so well for school. i always looked so bad when i was attending undergrad.

i have not traveled much, unfortunately, and when i do, it's usually with family. i did go to london once by myself, and you're right, it would've been nice to have some company along the way!

I really enjoy the detail in your shoes. It sort of reminds me of F/W Miu Miu because of the intricate way it all overlaps each other but with a twist as these look a lot more like shoes on your way out.

I can relate. I do a lot of traveling by myself as well and it's tough. I like being independent but I find things get boring really fast when you're always by yourself. I'm actually planning to visit NY next spring as well, but my sister and I will be going together cause I'm also sick of traveling by myself. I hope you find a friend to go with.

Hello Eva!

You look fab! This blouse and shoes and pants...to a gala dinner! About being alone, it sucks! Last week, for exemple, I stayed alone. My hubby had to trip and it was the worse week ever. I hate to be alone...I need people around. I hope you can find company soon to trip...although, when you are alone...you are free to do whatever you want :)

You are amazing,

love,

Kira
