I actually did a bit of &#39;cleansing&#39; in London, when I had a rought time a few years ago and even though it was a business trip, it really did help. I actually felt the same way about NYC that you did about London. The first few times I visited NYC, I thought it was less magical and glitzy than depicted in movies. I do appreciate it now, but I guess you can&#39;t help comparing cities after a while.
